Years ago, I was moving from one crazy, dangerous neighborhood to another slightly less dangerous, yet equally crazy neighborhood, when a mentally ill homeless person randomly tried to cut me with a box cutter. Just one of those things. One second he was trudging by silently, the next he was coming at me, also silently

I’m not sure how that is connected as those were clearly two separate people.

I haven’t seen this because in a world where I’m happy to spend 8 hours watching the Beatles examining their navels, I rebel at the notion of spending another second in the realm of any telling of Justice League.

Next there’ll be a movie adaptation of the novel, and finally the movie’s soundtrack will come out, but it’ll just be a rerelease of the original album, finally completing the ouroboros of adaptation and opening the seventh seal so that we can finally put an end to humanity.

Fury Road and Blade Runner 2049 kicked the shit out of Hollywood convention. Maybe we’ll get lucky a third time.

Perhaps Jessica Henwick could become involved in some capacity?

I feel like his work would’ve been better with better directors, writers, cinematography and fight choreography. There’s plenty of horrible actors in the MCU that don’t seem as bad cause the product is more well made than the Iron Fist show. The other Netflix shows are only good because they have good acting, the

let’s bring favreau back as foggy to really mess with people.

Hey, if he sticks with Luke and they go the Heroes for Hire route, I’d be down with that. The brief scenes of just the two of them from season 2 of Luke Cage finally nailed Danny’s character.

I didn’t mind the episode, but I also have never viewed Dexter, even at its best, as fine dining. It’s always been a guilty pleasure meal for me (that said, Michael C. Hall is obviously an outstanding actor so that’s not taking anything away from his, or any other performances, such as Lithgow, etc).

Curb Your Inappropriate Behaviour.

I bought myself a leg lamp years ago; most years I get it out instead of a Christmas tree. The soft glow of electric sex in my living room brings me unparalleled joy. :)

Because it had ended. And something else was now airing.

I like this movie & like all the characters & feel bad for & also relate to them

Ive enjoyed watching this and admittedly am a huge Beatles fan. I like Jackson’s straightforward reconstruction of the chronology of the sessions very much. Lots of good comments and threads here too. The one Id like to add is to imagine the context of the larger conceit of the original project — staging a

Along with a robust viewing experience, I appreciate the film’s effect of making me go listen to a lot of their respective solo efforts again (and some for the first time).

My main ‘revelation’ from watching this is actually realising just how young they were through old. Ringo is the old man of the group and he’s only 28. George is writing Something and All Things Must Pass, and he’s only 25. Paul is taking up the slack and becoming the leader and he’s still only 26. It’s just insane

And even in the ‘30s it was a pretty grainy color for awhile, too.

I think I assumed it was set in the 50s because it was filmed in colour.  So basically there’s a part of me that believes Calvin’s Dad’s theory that until recently colour didn’t exist.

It’s pretty obviously Italian, look at the labeling on the box.
