Hey, if he sticks with Luke and they go the Heroes for Hire route, I’d be down with that. The brief scenes of just the two of them from season 2 of Luke Cage finally nailed Danny’s character.

I didn’t mind the episode, but I also have never viewed Dexter, even at its best, as fine dining. It’s always been a guilty pleasure meal for me (that said, Michael C. Hall is obviously an outstanding actor so that’s not taking anything away from his, or any other performances, such as Lithgow, etc).

Along with a robust viewing experience, I appreciate the film’s effect of making me go listen to a lot of their respective solo efforts again (and some for the first time).

My main ‘revelation’ from watching this is actually realising just how young they were through old. Ringo is the old man of the group and he’s only 28. George is writing Something and All Things Must Pass, and he’s only 25. Paul is taking up the slack and becoming the leader and he’s still only 26. It’s just insane…

And even in the ‘30s it was a pretty grainy color for awhile, too.  

I think I assumed it was set in the 50s because it was filmed in colour.  So basically there’s a part of me that believes Calvin’s Dad’s theory that until recently colour didn’t exist.
