So, your entire line up is aging, over priced vehicles with a poor reputation for reliability.

Hey, so Apple says the Macbook Pro uses a “72.4-watt-hour lithium-polymer battery” which is not what we’re talking about here. They use a solid state disc drive, maybe that’s what you’re thinking about?

I will say that them delivering a car to you with a seven day test drive period and them coming to you to buy a used vehicle is really nice. I sold a vehicle to a dealership recently- got an online quote, took it in and I then had to haggle and shit over the price they offered to me in-person, which was two grand

My workplace brought people back to hybrid and everyone’s been pissed ever since. Gave rise in no small part to a burgeoning white collar union effort, so maybe they’ll regret that decision.

None of these are operational, so the Mars is still the largest operational flying boat. Also, even though it did technically fly, because it cannot attain altitude like a conventional aircraft, few would consider the Caspian sea monster (or any WIG craft) a flying boat.

I don’t mind the F-150 either.

Rising gas prices suck but people should have known that cheap gas wasn't a thing that was going to last. I stings a little filling up the hybrid Sienna, but I only have to do that once every two weeks. It probably sucks even more for the poor saps who thought daily driving a monster truck/suv was a good idea.

2. From what I’ve read, Russian oil is selling at a big discount. The high prices are helping everybody else, including Canadian and US oil producers.

Yup, every time gas just gets expensive I just move closer to everything and get a job that I can walk to.

My impressions:

Gas is expensive? The solution is to drive less and prioritize your routes. At least, that’s always worked for me. May not work for others. It also matters where you live.

If you live further out from groceries and other services, you’re an idiot. You’ll get killed by the high gas prices AND you’ll put more cO2 in the

At some point we’re going to need to rethink the whole gas tax anyway, since that is part of how road and bridge infrastructure is funded.

We aren’t out of the woods quite yet. Despite cases having dropped dramatically they are still higher than at any other time during the pandemic. While the vaccines are very effective and I personally have Three full doses of Moderna I know people who got Omicron and were totally knocked on their asses for a week

I took a trip to my local hardware store’s Crime Aisle and picked up some drain opener crystals. This is crystalized lye, aka sodium hydroxide, aka NaOH. Lye is nasty stuff

“But how does someone play for Detroit more than a decade and only own one American car?”

So you just have to change the body, the suspension, the wheels/tires, the interior, the engine and transmission?

8 grand for that wax banana is straight clown tits.

It’s unclear if the two had had a prior run-in on the road, or if the truck driver simply didn’t want the sedan getting ahead.

If you’ve got 700 grand to refurbish, how hard could it possibly be to swap out the airline toilets for some RV/Marine flush units?

“Eh fuck buddy, I’m soooorry but you need to move on through now, eh?”
