In football they run at each other and collide at full speed on every play. They simply can’t do that in Rugby, because no one can sprint like that for 80 straight minutes. It’s certainly violent but it’s a different type of violence.

Gee its almost like football is a sport with a lot of physical contact and violence and if it were played like soccer or rugby everyone would be dead at the end.
