LMM songs — I was kind of hoping for new Elton John songs, though maybe Elton John and Tim Rice have used up all their lion songs.

I was not a fan of Sorkin’s version of Camelot, though it was nice to see a live production of a musical I’ve always liked.

I despise what J.K. Rowling has become (or revealed herself to be).

I felt the end was odd, as well. I understand the difficulty in finding an end for something like this, that’s inspired by real life. Real life doesn’t create neat endings. And who knows how much this deviates from what happened... but what actually happened doesn’t really matter because it just has to work as a

This may get buried in gray but — I AGREE!!!

I don’t collect vinyl but I’m all for new Fallout stories to be posted, to make up for the lack of week-to-week conversations about the latest episode. It’s such a good show. I personally loved being able to binge it all but it totally deserves to linger in the national pop culture conversation the way week-to-week

I was just reading about how Knuckles is barely in his own show.

I was with you right up until the Pop-Tarts aspersion.

Tower of Terror remains the Tower of Terror (complete with Twilight Zone IP) in Florida.

James Gunn confirmed DC has wrapped “animatics” and “recording” on the upcoming Creature Commandos animated movie.

I’m expecting some Succession jokes. Though obviously we’re all debating how much 4th wall-breaking is too much.

THIS needs to be made clearer in this discussion. I totally forgot about that aspect. It’s not just their likenesses, they contributed their actual names so that their names became a part of the IP. (The original Star Wars actors signed away their likenesses for life but at least they could keep their names.)

It *seems* like the sequels are weird-ass books! I guess I’m trying to imagine what would be the most satisfying/cathartic ending for a trilogy like this. You obviously want to play out everything that’s been set up. It doesn’t need to be a “happy” ending, but I feel like you’d want a satisfying conclusion. So that

I think Domhnall Gleeson is a really interesting performer and I kind of don’t want to see him relegated to a sitcom for years. (Assuming this will basically be “Another Office”.) He was a bit wasted in the Star Wars sequels.

Where do you think is the best place to end the Dune film trilogy that Villeneuve is making?

I am old enough to remember there being an uproar over showing commercials before movies in movie theaters. And now... people just use it as an excuse to arrive at the theater later. Or mess with their phones longer.

Lisa Gilroy is funny and dreamy. I write this message in the grays.

When the sequels were announced, without George Lucas helming them, I really thought there was a chance the franchise would be able to reach new heights. ANDOR is what I hoped for. (A series that I wasn’t that excited about, going into it.) It takes the elements of Star Wars and really goes deeper: with the writing,
