It cracks me up ( no pun intended!) how people freak out over the sight of a naked body.

I am in complete agreement with you on every single count.

And the ones that like having sex with their food maintained a healthy weight and had fewer cavities.

It could have been worse. He could have crash into Uranus.

Oh, great! Now their site will suffer the Gizmodo effect and be either unavailable or mercilessly slow. Thanks for nothing, Obama! Way to ruin sideboob for the average Joe.

For me, that would be nothing more than a stylish way to come in last.

And so goes the first day of class in Glory Hole 101.

Do these same rules apply in the case of celebrity death? *cough*stevejobs*cough*

OK!

"Yeah, ya know, I try to stay fit. See, this is how much I gained walking to the store. And this is the meal I prepared. And this is when I took a shower. And this is me having sex. And this is... hey... where are you going??"

Awesome! Time to re-live a childhood terror.

One of those things that seemed like a good idea at the time but is quickly replaced with serious change of heart.

That's a train wreck of a translation!

Cats can do that?? YAY!

Thanks for the clarification. I agree, it can be as dangerous as it can be positive. It's not treatment unto itself. But if it can be harnessed as part of a treatment and can ease pain and promote healing, that's a very good thing.

Agreed. Except, I hold that better pain tolerance is an actual effect. Though, not a solution.

Thanks. I understand the placebo effect. I'm not suggesting it's physiological or tangible. I'm saying that if a person goes to a doctor with a tangible, physiological problem, seeks treatment and then responds favorably to said treatment, whether tangible or not, that's a win. If the pain is gone, the pain is gone.

The Placebo effect is laughed off but it's an amazing resource. How many times have you heard "it's all in your head."? Well, what if the cure for a very real problem is also "in your head"? How cool would that be! I say we should learn to tap into the placebo effect as much as possible.
