Or if the USPS would have bought a electric vehicle to replace their fleet. Now all of a sudden you have chargers in EVERY city paid for by us. If the government were really serious about electric vehicles and their proliferation they would support that and upgrades to the grid/power stations.

Except 25% in the diminishing returns area is a monumental effort which will be very expensive and have a trivial effect if any. We’re looking at a 1/4 of 3% or something of that nature that will cost more than what achieved the prior gains.
