This isn’t anything new either. Henry Ford was a narcissistic, bigoted, anti-semitic asshole (read Ate Up with Motor’s excellent articles about the Flathead V8). But he also did great and amazing things that helped make the modern world what it is.

You forgot the all important first step of turning off all the electronic nannies that might have saved their stupid ass.
Ditto for an XJ Cherokee. Parts are cheap and repairs are easy, but there sure are a lot of little things that you always have to do. On one hand it’s fun to wrench on cheap and easy things, on another sometimes you just want to have a break before the next little thing pops up.
Yep
The front end of that has a very strong mid-70s GMC truck vibe to it.
I bet there’s enough semen on those seats to resurrect the king.
Probably worth mentioning that the Jeep has the additional “advantage” of being street legal, although that isn’t the Mahindra’s fault.
The Venza was still way too tall though, and still pillowy soft ride... a lot of the switchgear was cribbed directly from the Avalon of the same years. The Venza was actually designed for older empty nesters while the Highlander was for families and the RAV4 for the younger set.
You could make a decent looking and handling wagon or hatchback on a CUV platform. You just eliminate the lift and use suspension components designed for handling rather than pillowy softness.
Yeah, it’s really expensive for what it is. But if you are in want of attention at the local cars and coffee it is still a pretty reasonable way to get it.
Looks just like this one right near me. https://atlanta.craigslist.org/nat/cto/d/suzuki-lj20-little-jeep-jimmy/6584836862.html
I almost put diesel in my Civic halfway on a 10 hour road trip because while every other gas station has black handle for gasoline and green handle for diesel, BP has a green handle for gasoline and a black one for diesel. Because their corporate color is green and fuck you, that’s why. Fortunately for me it was the…
I felt like it would have been better to have Vader as the person controlling the crime syndicate. After all, they are helping the Empire, and Maul has very few reasons to help the Empire at this point in his story.
We’re now on our second Ein, “Ein Zwei” (bonus that Zwei is also another anime Corgi, in RWBY)
This is wannabe Ferrari.
I like mine too, which I also got in the firesale after the market failure. It *really* needed a way to strap it to your head.
Well, it ends with Ragnarok coming, which can only mean Kratos is going to be killing a lot more gods.
I had a new one as a rental last year and I agree wholeheartedly. However I have a 2004 3.5 SE and it was an awesome car when we bought it, and it’s still pretty decent today even with ~200k miles. Nissan/Infiniti has really gone downhill since around ~2007 or so.
I drove my Miata down a bunch of the primitive forestry roads in the Blue Ridge Mountains. You should have seen the looks on the Jeep and Subaru owners faces. The truth is with a small car you can get around a lot of the giant potholes, rocks and tree branches and etc that present the obstacles on those type of roads.
Can it at least repond with canned messages to gmail and hangouts messages? This is the biggest thing I use my Pebble for. I get where you’re coming from on the voice-to-text, but my time has always had really shoddy support for it - maybe I have a defective microphone or something.
