Nah, Dan just had a pretty one sided take. It wasn’t exactly invalid. But it was hardly the only way the game can truthfully be portrayed. Plenty of people like the game, but it’s not for everyone. Just like every game.

Oh not you too Kotaku... You used to be the ones writing original journalism not just parroting other articles without putting in any original thought of your own.

Oh boy have I got news for you.... Fallout was always Political. And about roughly the issues he mentioned. They didn't make it anything it wasn't already seemingly

FYI Xbox already do allow the distribution of keys from 3rd party sellers.

Xbox also already allows third party sellers to sell keys for Xbox games. I’m assuming they still get a cut, but it does allow for a cheaper alternative at least.

This is a very self selective take on the launch of Starfield...

In your opinion. I'd argue it was deserving of being on that list over at least RE4 remake. Thought ultimately GlBG3 should take the win.

That’s because it always was, there just wasn’t quite enough of it at launch

Considering that’s not even all of them, and the other major titles that have dropped in the past two months I’d say it’s pretty stacked

For Starters, BG3 was only available on Steam for a long time, unlike Starfield that was split between Xbox, Steam, the Windows Store and Gamepass. Especially gamepass makes it hard to compare the two games in such a direct way.

I did see it in the article, alongside Diablo IV but it was certainly easy to miss.

To be fair, Infinite was good from the start. There just wasn't quite enough of it. Still more than many games, but previous Halo games had set such a high content bar for the series

Yeah, I’m not sure how to feel really, saddened at all the shitiness there is, or somewhat relieved it’s not worse. I’ve decided to feel saddened that I have to feel relieved in the first place....

I think it’s a reasonably common bug across games at the moment. I’ve noticed similar things in a few other games this year. Makes the idea that it could be storage device related quite plausible.

Except it absolutely does. It’s not the only game to put that stupid narrative to bed, but it is the final nail in the coffin.

Except it’s obviously not the first or only game to break the narrative. Just the latest and most prolific.

It’s also not the only example. Just the latest and most prominent example.

A) This isn’t a single one off, just the best example

I would be VERY surprised if Bethesda don’t impliment some way of modding the PC Gamepass Version of the game, even if it is akin to the slightly more limited/curated modding avenue that you get on Console.

I feel like you’re only even scratching the surface of Bethesda here. I mean, you haven’t even named anyone from the Elder Scrolls, and then there’s Hi Fi Rush this year which would have perfect characters for this. Vasco from Starfield etc....
