I used to listen to ‘The Miseducation of Lauren Hill’ on my CD-Walkman. You’d have to replace it with 4 AA batteries.... every month or so because between Janet Jackson, The Fugees, and Maxwell there were a lot of albums to play-out....

I just youtubed that play. Impressive.
Reading that list gives me the feeling I get right before I vomit.
^The “purple” in my username stems from my past love of The Ravens and Baltimore pride. (I still love Bmore).
A question: Yout mentioned the anthem is racist. What would you (or others) put in its place as a new anthem, if anything? Or would you change parts of the anthem? What part is racist?
Good statement...
Thanks!
Yeah, could be the latter but he approaches it in too much of a cavalier way.
So now White-people-Trump-fans are lighting their Ravens jerseys on fire and calling for boycott after watching the players take a knee.
I don’t really judge him now for his weight. I just know how the message in the song struck me when I first heard it years ago. Regardless of whether it was a joke or not, I didn’t like the idea that a man is telling a woman to withhold from dessert and eat salads to get a man.
Now we have half the players kneeling and indignant white people boycotting the NFL because of the players’ choice to protest.
Thanks, I hadn’t seen that.
20 something players knelt during the anthem.
Kanye wrote these lyrics...
The right is so often concerned about who is disrespecting the flag.
“Anyway, Trump doesn’t really care one way or the other about what happens in the NFL. He’s just saying whatever he thinks will give the racists a boner and maintain his popularity with them.”
Yep.. I think that is part of what drives the Rachel Dolezals of the world.
Mmmmm... The quote in the title and the actual quote are slightly different in meaning and context... it’s a very subtle difference, but still changes the meaning.
I didn’t use the word offensive.
Remember he judged Amber Rose for posing nude and natural and yet had sold out for $$$ posing nude enough himself in an advertisement for Burger King?
