Maybe she’s not on hormonal birth control. It screws with some people, and I can see what would be minor symptoms for a normal person being a challenge for an elite athlete in prime training.

Far be it from me to question the Chinese adhesion to modern medicine, but it’s extremely easy to plan a missed period with birth control. If I was swimming at the Olympics, I would of course be doing that, no question. Not because period blood is a public health concern, but because I wouldn’t want cramps or any

Same. Exact. Thought. I also wondered if Todd has his own full-time handler. And then I wondered if the handlers for celebrity dogs ever take pity and pretend whatever pooch du jour ran away while secretly re-homing it to normal people.

While I think this is a great idea it seems that this dude went out and bought a gun the very fucking next day. Something more comprehensive needs to happen. Something that comprehensive is a thing too far for the American people it seems. Or at least the loud, angry, and red-faced American people.

It will never happen, but when the police are called to a domestic dispute, they should remove any and all firearms from the house, every time, regardless of whether someone is arrested. You should have to apply to get them back, and have your spouse sign that application.

Yeah I have no idea what tht was about. To me it was so clearly him.

Yes. I had trolls jump on me for assuing it was a domestic violence situation and that he’d done it but to me it was so clear right away with this story.

Does anyone here listen to the My Favorite Murder podcast? Their latest episode dropped the day the news of this came out, and one of the subjects covered was ‘family annihilators’, specifically John List.

Anyone with just passing knowledge of domestic violence would have known it was the father who killed the family and then himself. I knew when it was reported that the dog was also killed. These kinds of murders are about dominance and control.

So a man with a history of “domestic disputes” severe enough to warrant the police having to attend was legally able to obtain a gun with which to kill his wife. That’s an odd interpretation of a well regulated militia.

One assumes when Hillary Clinton says that sexual assault victims have a right to be believed, she means by the authorities etc. when they report. Because a lot of women have a hellish time with the police and whatnot placing the burden of proof on sexual assault victims and re-victimizing them. And I also agree with

I’m a sexual assault survivor myself, and I know avoidance behaviors are definitely a thing there. But there was 20 years between her rape and the Lewinsky investigation, and then after declining to participate in that, she chose to go after Hillary, not Bill. That’s what strikes me as odd. I’m picturing my own rape,

I’m not saying I believe either party here, but I would like to point out that there’s a difference between beeing a cheater and shitty husband and a rapist. And being a serious philanderer doesn’t automatically turn you into a rapist. So why would Hillary - or any woman - blindly believe another woman making that

I believe that Bill Clinton raped her. I don’t believe that he went home, told his wife since he’s running for governor they should probably deal with all the women he’s raped and suggest Hillary intimate them. Much more plausible is Hillary was told it was a consensual relationship and if this exchange took place, it

You basically have to believe that Bill told Hillary that he raped a woman, to believe that Hillary intimidated Broaddrick. And then you also have make additional leaps as to why Bill’s actions are Hillary’s fault. And then it gets more confusing since Broaddrick seems more focused on Hillary than Bill.

I think Bill Clinton got a lot of sex, before and after marrying Hillary. I think 90% of it was consensual, and when he was younger and stupider and the times were different there’s probably a solid 10% that we would consider today to be date rape or worse. In that way I believe Broaddrick and it seems it has affected

All I know is I will NOT be voting for Bill Clinton this November.

I have no idea if Broaddrick’s allegations are true or not, but her story is credible enough, and should be treated with sensitivity and seriousness.

I don’t know if Bill Clinton raped her or not, but I do find it odd that she seems to focus so much on ruining Hillary’s career over the issue. Her evidence that Hillary even would have known about the incident is shaky at best - Hillary shook her hand and said thank you, in what was perceived to be a menacing tone?

What can we say? The intimidation story is the only part of this that accuses the actual Presidential candidate of doing anything, and it is pretty subjective even if true.
