I saw a guy in Berkeley CA washing his electric car with a hose the other day.

Are you still limited to having to use a dedicated hardware remote for Roku, or is there a nice app for it nowadays? I love the Chromecast for the sheer simplicity of controlling it direct from the app I’m streaming from on my phone.

Right now, if I want to watch a movie, my first step is to check Netflix. If (or, let’s be real, when) it doesn’t have it, I’ll go to Google Play to see if I can spend a few bucks to rent it.

I’d happily buy TV and movies through Instant Video rather than Google Play Movies if they were Chromecast-able, especially now they can be “pinned” to phones and tablets the same way. But they aren’t, so I stick with Google as I don’t have a spare HDMI port to stuff a Fire Stick into. I wonder how many others feel

The EU and the UK especially are also experiencing stagnant wages and increasing costs of living right now.

Animal Crossing: Happy Home Designer alone is going to have 400 collectible Amiibo trading cards in total. It’s $6 for a pack of 6 (if you can actually find one) so you’re looking at at least $400 there.

You may wish to look up the British-English definition of the word “dogging” and either never use it again, or use it in every possible scenario.

It’s a shame the Ghostbusters packs have no Dana, only Zuul.

It seems pricey compared with, say Infinity 3.0, which has a “starter kit” available for $35; but if you consider that it includes 250 Lego pieces (which average at $0.10 each in most kits, so $25 of Lego), a far more complex base plate than other NFC games (it lights up in all sorts of ways and moving figures around

I still wonder sometimes if I just imagined this movie in some kind of a fever dream. I mean, how did Disney put out a Muppet movie featuring Amy Adams and Miss Piggy singing a song about masturbation?

Question: I do not have stereoscopic vision. I have to close one eye when I watch anything in 3D in order to see a single image. Will VR work the same way, or am I SOL? Just when it looked like 3D was a dying fad and I’d be able to enjoy all new things again...

I was on a minipill which you can’t get in the USA (I moved here 18 months ago and was running out of the massive supply the glorious UK health service had provided me for free before the move) which uses exactly the same hormone as is in Mirena, so that seems less likely in my case.

Insertion hurt like a motherfucker, there’s no getting around that. It was a cramping pain, rather than a sharp one (if there is a sharp one tell the doc as soon as you feel it as it means something is very wrong) so you have to fight the urge to curl into a ball and just ride it out. I didn’t sleep a wink the night

Have you looked into endometrial ablation? It’s where they stick a little microwave probe into your uterus and blast the lining to smithereens. It makes most women’s periods non existent or light enough to not care about. It also sounds metal as fuck.

I got mine a month ago today, too! IUD twinsies!

Got mine a month ago and all was fine until a week ago when my face started breaking out everywhere, constantly, in addition to having what I can only describe as a tsunami of a period. It’s all stopped now and my face is clearing up. I’m hoping that’ll be the end of it because my skin was great and periods

There are some varieties of pills which can come as a 21/7 and a 28 pack. Your doctor should be able to prescribe you the 28 version if you ask and they aren’t a dick.

I wanted one of those Motorolas you can only get on Verizon so I did the math to figure out how much it would cost me. The phone is $480 either as a one off or 24x$20. That’s fine. I then look to see how much the same service I currently pay $30/mo for with Cricket (Unlimited Mins, Unlimited Text, 2.5GB data) and, oh

Surely it’s a Massively Multiplayer Offline RPG?

Does keyboard support also include mouse support? I’m gonna feel a little dumb using WASD in one had and holding a bluetooth controller in the other.
