I keep thinking he looks like Dennis Hopper/Matthew McConaughey's faces mashed together.

I can't say he was the best part but he was really good. I hope he gets more speaking parts.

Beymer's always been great. I can even tolerate the Civil War scenes in season 2 due to his performance.

I loved the Sarah scenes, but it's crazy that this got a better rating then last week's episode. A lot of it came off as filler and it was the first episode I didn't really like. That Audrey scene was terrible. Maybe the last twenty minutes or so will play better on a rewatch.

Banks peaked in Season 1 and 2. His scenes were probably the weakest
part of season 3, but I still really like his performance. Just not as
good as Seehorn or McKean. And Mando was really good down the stretch.

I'm conditioned at this point that Kaitlin Olson, Charlie Day, and Glenn Howerton will never be nominated for Sunny. It seemed like this season they were showing off their acting skills a little more too.

I ended up loving The Mick. I think Kaitlin is one of the funniest women of her generation and as great as she is on Sunny, this is probably an even better showcase of her talents. She even got a few serious moments to show that she's a pretty good actor as well. I love Sweet Dee, but she really hasn't got a lot of

JAMES WAS ALWAYS COOL

I thought he was doing a current Gene Simmons look or Danzig.

That was the one time I nearly smirked during that sketch.

The Mick was such a huge surprise. I remember thinking the commercials looked weak, but I liked it as much as season 12 of Sunny tbh. It was very consistent too, as I thought maybe only the pilot and one other episode weren't good. I hope the AV Club reviews season 2.

The one joke I remember was they were in a yoga class and everyone was going "hum" and then Kat Dennings said "hummer" while the laugh track went crazy. That was enough for me.

In an interview, she said she got to help with the casting and give notes on scripts and change things once in a while. She seems more hands on than with Sunny.

This show is on NBC, while The Mick is on Fox. Fox/FXX is in the same network family while NBC might have contractual obligations that make Howerton unable to film Sunny if he wanted to.

As the season goes on she grows as a character and becomes less Dee like. The first two or three episodes she's essentially playing Dee, but her Mick character is way more together and confident.

It would've been weirder seeing him play Chris Pratt's character in Jurassic World. Gregg Awesome or whatever his name was. Pratt beat him out for that as well.

I'm surprised they even mentioned Bruce after Stephen Collins got outed as a pedo a few years ago. I think there were a few episodes in 10/11 where Dee and Dennis just referred to Frank as their father so I thought they retconned him out of the show.

Dee's switching into being more of a psycho than her brother and Frank still likes eggs.

I think Frank gives all the gang an allowance or she pockets money from people. It looked like a pretty outdated DVD player to go with her outdated TV.
