I used to do that haha. I enjoyed KoF, but the Metal Slug series was my drug. Sometimes I wonder how much money I dumped on those games. 

Honestly at this point would be more surprising (and welcome) to see new, unique, innovative franchises from Chinese developers.

Go back and play a Gamecube game on real hardware. Look how long it takes to load something like a Viewtiful Joe level. Probably like sixteen seconds, right? And this was before data pre-streaming was a thing and when everything was compressed.

Fatal Frame, yes... FF2 is probably my favorite game, ever. The dread you feel during the cutscenes is almost too much to bear. Scariest series, hands down.
