The best part about that "Sit Down, You're Rockin the Boat" clip is JK Simmons in the background.

I saw a preview screening of this on Tuesday. I'm usually pretty indifferent to Wes Anderson, but I really loved this movie. It perfectly nails the awkwardness of adolescent romance and sexual awakening, but balances that with an awesome troupe of kid actors, adult actors and beautiful, BEAUTIFUL cinematography.

I'm re-watching it right now, and as much as I love the show, it is utterly perplexing why they

I applied because I am a Chicagoan with a degree in journalism, educated by lovelies like Jim DeRogatis and Dan Dinello, with over a year of editing experience for a column at the Chicago Tribune and, uh, I love the AV Club? GIMME DAT JOB!

I'm always slightly embarrassed to admit that I know about Michael Ian Black because of I Love the 80s and its subsequent (and often horrible) sequels. He's easily the best part of that whole series, which led me to pursue his earlier comedy. I have to say - his Twitter is one of the funniest out there. I like to not
