.....has Perry never heard of the Establishment Clause?
1) Thanks for the info! I honestly didn't know and had always wondered.
Right. I spent last summer "externing" at the USPTO Office of Patent Legal Administration, so I was very interesting to get the inside perspective of the case (hint: they stand by their patents). Also, I wrote my Journal Comment on this topic. The DOJ tried to use the "magic microscope" argument (i.e. if we had a…
1) As I understood it, one of the major reasons Myriad was able to get a patent was because the DNA that was patented was a particular gene sequence in isolation. As in, the specific genes BRCA1 and BRCA2, removed from the total genetic sequence, and somehow stabilized so the particular genetic sequences could exist…
I personally would hate a public proposal. I still harbor resentment for friends/family that made the waiters sing "Happy Birthday" to me at my birthday dinner. I hate a big, contrived production.
I can laugh about it now. The boy (I refuse to call him a man, as he was only 18 at the time) was all about "the Grand Romantic Gesture" (it was even in his facebook profile). Love Actually is/was? his favorite movie.
HA. As long as you bring wine. Lots of wine.
Thanks for the info. I've heard that the process itself does take longer than shaving, but the results last longer. I'm thinking it might be worth it to spend a 1/2 hour on a Sunday night "epilating" once a month, than 10 min every other morning.
I never had any luck with Nair. I tried it maybe twice and I found the results to be spotty at best. I have fairly thick and dark hair on my legs though, much darker and thicker than my arm hair.
I'd be using it primarily on my legs. I may try the bikini line, which has been desensitized due to years of waxing. I have dark, rather thick leg hair (thanks, Italian mom!) so I have to shave or it's pretty obvious.
Epilators....any thoughts?
Because bachelors never clean. Or anyone with a penis, really.
I REMEMBER THAT TOO!!!!
Very interesting point. I hadn't noticed it until you mentioned it (I rarely listen to country) but it's so true. I had to spend a week captive in a car with country music aficionados (long story) and 99% of the songs were about America, Jesus, and teenage love.
Well, I think organ transplants are the only thing to which something like QALY would apply (I'm trying to remember back to my comparative health law class — please correct me if I make an error). For systems like Canada and Britain, the government has to make a decision whether or not to provide coverage for a…
I'm 99% sure that the US doesn't use QALYs. Congress doesn't want to get into the icky business of determining quality of life, and assigning a numerical value to it.
To add to the pile: Dermalogica Clean Start Welcome matte spf 15. It's a moisturizer, not a BB cream, so it's colorless. I have the greasiest skin ever (thanks, Italian mom!) and this feels light and fresh. It absorbs quickly.
But! But! It's the dirty Marxist femininazi's fault for encouraging wiminz to leave home/abandon their families and go to work, taking up the jobs of the hardworking menfolk!
