The most ambitious crossover event in history.

I acknowledge that history is complex and that’s especially true with this subject matter. I’m glad that Battlefield treats it that way. But The Last Tiger’s extraordinary production value is hell-bent on telling the tale of “the Good German” while glossing over the fact that you don’t exactly get to be a Wehrmacht

But there’s a problem. It’s 2018 and I don’t need or particularly want media to humanize Nazis. I acknowledge that history is complex, and I’m glad that Battlefield treats it that way. But The Last Tiger’s extraordinary production value is hell-bent on telling the tale of “the Good German” while glossing over the

You are correct in that Nazis should never ever be romanticized. That being said, just because you were in the German Army (basically forced conscription during WWII) does not mean you were a Nazi. The distinction applies to the SS. One of the best historical books that touches on this topic would be Christopher

Oh my sweet summer child.

ROFL, Streisand effect is strong on this one. The more chinese government censor this, or people feel pressured to do so, the more people will be aware of the whole Pooh=Xi Jinping thing.

I go in the opposite direction, I far prefer accessibility over immersion. I’m always happy for the immersion to take a hit for quality-of-life gameplay features. For example, in both Xenoblade Chronicles 1 and 2, the game still lets you fast travel to places where it doesn’t make any canon sense for you to be anymore

It also makes the game rather tedious.

There’s been a steady stream of new content of various quality. Namely, several new Blades have been added (9 I think), several of which are pretty spoilery so I won’t mention them here. The NG+ mode is also pretty robust and one of the better such modes out there. The new content adds a challenge mode with ~20

There’s also additional DLC for Xenoblade that is fiendishly difficult and adds two of the protagonists from the first game as Blades.

Helps salvage PR for something that isn’t really their fault, but yeah.

To be fair, this Nyko dock has been bricking systems and killing their ability to charge for months before the 5.0 update. The thing should have been pulled from shelves long ago.

That’s just Nintendo’s standard patch notes: a majority of their games end up with the same style of useless patch notes except the Splatoon team which usually actually documents balance changes well.

They changed up the animation style for Sun and Moon. Honestly, I think it would be neat if they change it up every “generation” to keep things fresh. The Pokemon anime had looked almost exactly the same for 20 years, so in my opinion it’s nice that they’ve decided to experiment a bit.

It helps to understand that this is an award from the perspective of developers. They aren’t judging based purely on musical tracks. That is why it is called an audio award. To them, what is important is how the audio integrates into the gameplay for immersion. This includes non-musical things like environmental

Why would it be “a year from now”? Just because they announced it recently doesn’t mean it hasn’t been being developed for years in secret.

it’s called “finding Endurance+ weapons”, and not just hack and slashing like a maniac.

In other news, the sky is blue.

The joke here is that you said “Zelda” rather than “Link”, right? Right?

Haven’t played any of those games... but...
