Hey Jonee, did you become verified? As in, out of the greys?
R.E.M., featuring the haunting vocals of Patti Smith.
I’m glad that Rory is finally starting to get the recognition that he deserves as an amazing Bluesman and extraordinary guitarist.
I recently read an interview with Graham Nash in which he explains the origins of this song. He was at a friend’s home in Hawaii, but he was in a rush to leave to catch a plane flight. I think the J. Geils Band is one of those bands that has become more appreciated with age. Such a great band with so many awesome tunes, although I must admit, “Must Of Got Lost” is my favorite! Great post, Sid!

Gregg Allman with some spontaneous music.
Some great Tex-Mex music!

A master of the acoustic guitar.
The great pedal steel guitarist Robert Randolph.
Amy made it hers...
Cryin’ won’t help you,
They were definitely contemporaries. In fact, I flipped through a few of Al’s videos before I posted George!
Peter Green’s Fleetwood Mac
Yes!!! I do remember him! He was jamming like a little SRV when he was like five, but I haven’t seen much of him lately.
For some reason I’ve grown to appreciate The Cars more and more as I get older. I just remember as a kid they were constantly on the radio and maybe it was just burnout. But when you go back and listen to a tune like the one you’ve posted, it is just brilliant and has certainly aged extremely well!
