In the mid-sixties, Gregg Allman and his older brother Duane joined the British Invasion craze and started a band called The Allman Joys.
Shuggie’s version is great and major props for writing it as that’s the tough part! But the intro to the Brothers Johnson version, just wow!
Love me some Shuggie, but in my humble opinion, the Brothers Johnson took his brilliant song and kicked it up a notch.
