Erika wasn’t a bad representation, but that just made it more of a disappointment when one of the endings reduced her to a “OMG SHE HAS A PENIS THAT’S SO GROSS!” joke.

Is this parody?

I am not trans, but I feel that it could feed into the stereotype/myth that transwoman like luring and seducing men to sleep with them without saying that they are trans.

I mean the very fact that they’re using the reveal of a person being trans for shock value is offensive in and of itself.

I honestly thought that one scene of them looking at Chewie in horror as he’s about to eat one of their own as the funniest part of the movie if only for the fact that he feels really guilty about it.

This was actually my first Atlus game when it was released on Xbox 360. Imagine my delight when I discovered that Persona 5 basically was Catherine but with Jrpgs instead of puzzles and like 7 times longer.

Because contrary to the belief held by some, Japanese developers are not duty-bound to release all current projects on the Switch.

One of the reasons to only mention one platform (PS3) is due to the nature of the remake coming to two Sony platforms (PS4 and Vita). So there is no real need to mention the other platform (Xbox 360) when Microsoft’s current generation of console (Xbox One) is likely not to see a similar release.

PS3s were not rather rare in 2011.

If they’re adding more story, hopefully they’ll make Katherine more likable (just my opinion, of course). While she’s fully justified in being frustrated with Vincent’s commitment issues, her general personality (very domineering towards Vincent, even outside of those commitment issues) and unpleasant attitude kind of

This is funny, I just replayed the game the other day. In a weird way I really like it, but I am not that big a fan about the whole climbing puzzle. But the story and charm that the game have still carries it. It does have some absurd difficulty spikes around day 6 though.

Whoa, dooooon’t do this. It’d be okay for Glady and maaaaybe Prompto, but Episode Ignis contains massive spoilers for the last half of the game. Definitely play it after the main game.

That’s a little iffy, given that Prompto’s and Ignis’ episodes both spoil end-game things.

The DLC Episodes do actually spoil some major plot points in the game itself, so I wouldn’t recommend playing them at the time they’d happen in-game.

That’s precisely why I waited for Crystal so I’d only need to buy one game lol. Crystal is definitely the better game and the one I put hundreds of hours on as a kid XD

It’s funny you mention this because no. You don’t get the best loot by cutting up the monster. The best way to get the best parts is to bring the monster home alive using traps and items that counter a monsters abilities. Different traps work on different monster and it makes it more difficult since traps are limited

Mamoru Hosoda is on the short list of directors I keep an eye out for. Not all of his movies were for me, but he has an excellent grasp of the craft and his use of family dynamics is often compelling.

I love the game journalism, but there feminisim, politics, and social issues they like to post directly, and in their articles is annoying now and then.

Yup, a lot of gamers I know don’t like Kotaku because they focus so much on social issues (I don’t mind personally, though it does feel like every other article is about social issues I’m supposed to be mad about), but when it comes down to it, Kotaku is one of the better places for video game NEWS. I’ve always
