In the midst of everything happening currently on the internet, I just wanted to say;
this was journalism.

Great article, Jason.

It's cool though, as much as I ache for Final Fantasy XV the coming saviour of JRPGs will be actually be hitting next year.

You don't seem to get the point. Just because you don't like it doesn't mean others don't like as well.

Jokes are supposed to be funny.

They learned a lot from P3 and P4 was awesome for it. P4 will always be my favorite for how good it was, but P3 has history that makes it more sentimental.

I loved P4G! I loved the school events, get togethers, and the hijinks they got into. I don't feel connected to anyone in P3 at all.

I can't help but think Koromaru must be rather old now, as a dog.

I still need to finish Persona 3, but the game is turning into a slog. It has terrible pacing issues where nothing seems to happen for months on end.

Except maybe they really enjoy the story in Persona games, love the characters, and want to see what happens next in this world. Maybe they're already fans of visual novels, which are pretty much just fancy choose your own adventure books. I don't see any reason why those people should skip the game and watch some guy

Well, one night has passed (nothing Tartarus-related), and I've found a good reason to agree with you. Considering that P4 is unavailable on the European PSN and that the only options are either playing it on a PS2, or playing P4G on a Vita, yes, people, start with P4! That means more sales for the Vita (hopefully!),

There's only five of you? That's kind of embarrassing, because there's 600 developers who think you need to give all that hate a rest.

I love your burgers.

So you obviously have not played fez.

Trash talk is one thing. Hate speech and threats are another thing entirely.

I wish a letter was enough to stop it. But it's probably too late for our generation. Maybe if empathy training became a requirement in schools starting in kindergarten and going all the way through high school we might see an end to bullies. But that's just one aspect. We also have fanboys who think that because they

I personally go with what the game's makers say. A spin-off is only a spin-off by definition if it leaves the continuity of the plot. If these events happened, then they're not really spin-offs. (And if they ever get referred to in main games, suddenly it's confusing if people considered them spin-offs.)

I'm glad that you didn't get me wrong: P3 and P4 are both great games, and indeed preferences are absolutely subjective. It's like choosing between, say, two great wines (sorry, I just had dinner...): that one might be more suited to your taste, but you know that both are delightful.

P4 for the game mechanics? Agreed, and there should be little discussion here (even though it makes it less challenging than P3, and I would even say to easy in normal mode). But mentioning story and characters as reasons for preferring P4? That's just opening Pandora's box: the Persona community is quite split over
