Just go 2 blocks down the road and you will find it broken down on the side of the road.

You’re using a lot of weasel words to describe something that’s already proven to work.

Beautiful. Hope they manage to keep a lot of this.

When determining the size of the engine, the number of liters shall be 2. No more, no less. 2 shall be the number of liters, and the number of liters shall be 2.

Read the article.

My family has gone through 6 VWs now (5 bought used, one new) and all have been supremely reliable for dozens of thousands of miles.  The VWs = unreliable mantra is well established on the internet, but I just don’t get it.

It’s only a model

no?... the hybrid part is solely to smooth out the edges of the gas engine, and quicken linear acceleration. The gas engine itself is what produces diesel-like fuel economy.

Waahhhhhhh. Sometimes I think Gawker makes more whine than a winery

Non VW owners have been saying that for a long time. I must be the luckiest VW owner around. 5 VWs and 1 Audi and the only issue was the Audi had to have a new transmission under warranty......and it was the only one that was leased. Latest issue of CR has VW ranked mid pack in the industry for reliability, ahead

Bring us that R wagon, a GTI wagon, and then - if I could dream for a second - a VR6 or 2.5 RS3 type top of the line mega sleeper. Audi be damned.

:eyeroll:

Yeah the EA888 Gen 3. Pretty high tech.

Gti wagon! Yes!! I was just thinking that while in my loaner alltrack

Well they make this, they just won’t sell it to us.

Every single grocery store does this.

Better than condos like they wanted to build a few years ago.

Like many racing projects, it was built as a toy by Larry H. Miller so he could race his cars (he was particularly known for collecting real Cobras). As a business guy he tried to make it self - sustaining, but it was always a vanity project. I think I like it more because of that.

I actually thought the facilities were pretty good. There aren’t that many racetracks that have physical garages in pit lane, visitors centers and year-round grandstands...

I hope this means we get some big series’ returning there. It would be great to see Weathertech Sports Car again...
