Thanks. I would probably be playing on PS4, as I doubt my laptop is powerful enough to run it well.

@William Hughes

I still haven’t played The Last of Us either. Inorite. I should really get on to that. Well, that and Skyrim too.

Was Audioslave political?

Editor?

Well last week I said I was going to finish off Dragon Age: Origins over the weekend, but instead I played through Kimmy vs. the Reverend a couple of times on Netflix.

Had most of the endings now, including the Yuko uprising, though I’ll give it one more playthrough to get the ending with Kim Jong Un in it and to

Yes, though it’d need to have the top-down tactical view from the PC version, like they had for Inquisition.

Those parties Alan Greenspan used to throw got pretty wild.

Past the edit window, so replying to my own comment. I missed last week’s WAYPTW, which posed a question about one’s ideal comfort game. Which would have been apropos, as it’s the one I’m playing.

Cask Boddingtons, which for all I know is still available on tap at The Sal*, was actually genuinely quite nice. And of course, those Boddies adverts had Melanie Sykes in them, which was definitely a plus.

This weekend I will mostly be wrapping up this year’s playthrough of Dragon Age: Origins. I’m up to the pre-Landsmeet stuff - rescuing the queen and escaping the prison (I’ll surrender to Ser Cauthrien rather than fight my way out, as I like to do this bit). I’m playing an Arcane Warrior tank this time around, so by

I too drank an inordinate amount of Boddies while at university. The corner shop opposite our house sold it, and it wasn’t lager. We were mostly playing Soul Edge though, with some Gran Turismo mixed in for my housemates who enjoyed that sort of thing.

You say that, but I’ve seen your beard and its a perfectly cromulent one.

I’m normally quite physically active - I go to the gym at lunchtime most days - and my diet when I’m at work is pretty abstemious. Working from home with a six year old and a toddler though, it’s all just gone to shit. I’m always grazing from the fridge, my wife’s baking constantly and I have no time and less

If you don’t come out of this quarantine having:

Continuing through Dragon Age Origins. Now completed the Circle Tower quest and had fun storming the castle at Redcliffe, so about to go off on a quest for the holy hand grenade. At Redcliffe I managed one of my favourite mini-challenges in the game, which is preventing any of the village militia guys from getting

I dunno, they managed to hide it for years with Christian Bale. Even his wiki page denies it.

Someone’s been reading my slashfic.

Finished off MGS4 last week. Someone much cleverer and better at writing than me could probably do a thinkpiece about how it demonstrates the difference between story and plot, due to it having a great story but a plot that’s completely incomprehensible. Like, was it Liquid’s plan all along to destroy the Patriots

Postcards from Doom 2 is my new Death Thrash Metal band name album title.
