Ok, well good. The details are unimportant I guess.

I meant to add - much as though it’s pure male nerd wish fulfilment, I do like the scene at the end of Act 2 between Naomi and Otacon. Especially with them starting off by talking about E.E, who of course was also voiced by Jennifer Hale.

Still have very little time for regular gaming due to combination of working from home, kids and regularly calling my dad (who can go on a bit). Continuing Metal Gear Solid 4, I’ve just finished Act 2 (the section in South America). I have completely lost track of the plot, beyond the basic concept that Liquid wants

Time to get my leather trenchcoat out of the loft and invest in a pair of mirror shades.

Due to the realities of having a full time job I can do from home (so though I’m complaining here, I’m actually pretty lucky), two small children and the schools/nurseries being closed, I’m making glacially slow progress in Metal Gear Solid 4. After two weeks I’ve just finished the Middle East bit at the beginning.

Thanks, that’s helpful. I suspect I’d be in the 40 hours range.

What sort of version of Baldur’s Gate are you playing? I think a version came out on iPad a while back, but I didn’t get very far into it.

I finally finished off my KOTOR reply last weekend. As always, I love that section at the end where you’re invading the Star Forge and face seemingly endless waves of enemies, but one of the interesting things while playing a Consular in that section was that I barely touched any of them. I’d put some area stuns down

One of the things I like most about KOTOR2 is that at various points in the game it forces you to play as most of your companion characters; and some of those sections are really challenging (Mira vs the Wookie, Atton vs the Twi’lek sisters, Atton vs the big dude made out of stone).

Happy new year Gamerlogicaroos!

Last week I said I was going to do another go through Dragon Age Origins. Thing is though, since I last played it I got a new PC, so I’ve actually spent the last week trying to remember what mods I was using and re-working out how mod installation works.

Fallout 3

I’m disproportionately pleased by this news, as The Lurkling has ruined at least five disc copies of Totoro, Kiki and Ponyo over the years.

The A.V. Club G/O Media

Fallout 3's gameplay told me a story about these sleepy, quaint communities of survivors, and how these people went about their daily lives unaware of the incoming migratory patterns of superpredators; unaware that within a few turns of the seasons they would surely all be extinct.”

Fallout 3

Yeah, for the same reasons I either stick to games that probably clock in under 20 hours, or revisit old, familiar friends.

Ee, they’re up to 6 now are they? I haven’t played any of them past 2. Though I almost played Alpha Centauri.

Fallout 3

Gary?! Gary. Ahh.. Gary! Gaa-ryy! Gary. Hodor Gaarry!
