I’ve been playing, for the first time, the original Deus Ex. I’m trying to do it by stealth and knockouts, but unfortunately I’m really bad at stealth games and so I’m finding it quite a slog. Also... the way I remember PS2 games was that their graphics were pretty good, but playing this now I can’t help but notice

Well in that case I’ll have an awkward conversation with my wife this weekend about how I want to quit my job to concentrate more on video games, and that it’s really important that she supports me at this difficult time. Wish me luck.

How the heck do you force line breaks?

For my birthday a few weeks ago, the Lady McLurk kindly bought me a PS4, and so I’m currently playing... PS3 games that I really meant to get around to but didn’t until now. (I’m good at deferred gratification).

He was certainly quite prickly. Unnecessarily so.

We went with shades of cream and grey, with some animal stickers on the wall near her cot.

I really enjoyed it the first time (and yes, both the mansion defence set-piece and the punga fruit trip were really well done). But somehow on replay... I dunno, maybe I’m just getting grumpier in my old age.
