In British-English use it’s roughly equivalent to how an American might use “motherfucker”. Not least because if you try saying “motherfucker” in a British accent (any British accent, from West Country to the Hebrides) you sound completely ridiculous.

I’ve only ever played KOTOR2 the once, and that was with the Restored Content Mod. Absolutely loved it. Even more than KOTOR. It’s just one of those things which I’m not sure I want to replay, in case I start seeing (inevitable) flaws in it.

He’s good in other things (including as Kaiden “a bit bland but at least you’re not awful like Ashley” Alenko). And he does have a nice voice.

It’s funny you mention earlier games; I kind of assumed that the performances in KOTOR were a bit stilted because they were relatively early on in having “in-game” (as opposed to cutscene) spoken dialogue. Just last weekend I finished off another playthrough of <b>Knights of the Old Republic</b>. Gotta be fair to Carth; he may be poorly animated and not well voice-acted, but this time around (my 3rd) I came to really appreciate his “there is fuckery afoot, and I shall not stand for it!” attitude.
