There are many (well, several) very good late-period Cage movies.
I'm also not convinced that Cage is playing the straight man in that film. At the very most, no more the straight man than Jason Bateman plays in Arrested Development.

Well I started with ME2 and just went with who I was given. And in fairness she's not so awful in ME3. But in the original game, yeesh.
