Interesting, it’ll be interesting to see if they can make it work. Honda has had a hell of a time with their Vtech system in the interceptor and they’ve been doing variable valve timing for 30 years or more.

You’re the first person I’ve read that actually liked it. Was that after the reflash?

So, look at the Duke 390

To add to your “too rich for my blood” I priced out tickets last year, nothing ridiculous just like a good mid level package, and a hotel/airfare/rental package. Then for funsies is did a comparable package to the Spa race, it was cheaper to fly to Belgium and watch a race there then to fly to Austin and watch a race

No Rossi tinted glasses since you know qualifying setups and tires and all that. Warm up is more indicative of race pace

Let’s not forget Marquez was almost 4 tenths faster than anyone in Warm up

The hard part I have in believing he didn’t sandbag a bit is Marquez was almost 4 tenths faster than the field in warm up. Factor that with his historically aggressive riding even at tricky Valencia Marquez probably should’ve won.

How integral is the IMU and ABS? Comprabaly it’s not that much cheaper. Also if you factor in the R1S which is cheaper than the announced non ABS zx-10 prices while maintaining ABS....

It’ll be interesting to see. The current ZX-10r road bike isn’t as good as the rest of the field its race version thoroughly dominated in wsbk this year. I have a feeling that this will be marginally better than the regular R1 but the R1M will still be king.

Happens a lot with QOTD

How can Repsol say that with a straight face? I mean their Golden Goose was basically a wrecking ball in Moto2. And for competitive integrity what about them subverting Nicky Hayden mid championship fight by giving Pedrosa the newer parts?

Cameron Beaubier (SP?) and a few others used this helmet this year in Motoamerica so I imagine it’ll be good.

Ten Kate is the factory team for Honda in WSBK, I’m not sure I follow the “second tier” logic.

I have followed Nicky since he was on the Hypercycle Suzuki’s. I can’t for the life of me figure his blind loyalty to Honda, it seems to me that they’ve done nothing but screw him over since he left Honda NA. I just don’t like the exit clause language that I’ve heard Honda has added in.

According to the parts description they use this instead if spools because it’s impossible to snap this off in a tip over.

Apparently I lied, according to Yamaha’s parts and accessories site it’s a stand hook.

I looked it up in the parts website apparently it’s a stand hook, so I was way off. Although I imagine you can rest the chain on it.

Looks like a chain holder for tire swaps

Hahahaha! Oh now I’m sad

More like hot at all times.
