You seem pretty confused there buddy. In your first 3 sentences you seem pretty confident that you KNOW what this game is. Then in you last sentence you say your put off by "whatever this is." I'm going to bet you don't know anything about what this is and are just making crap up.

Can we expect a full review on this Mr. Plunkett? Who am I kidding? of course not, but a simple write up of it by any kotaku staff member would would be spectacular. Their experience/perspective playing this VN would enlighten everyone not knowing what type of game this really is below the surface. I can only hope, I

I'm not one to get too hung up on sad tales but this one made me tear up like a kid. Amazing how attached you get to the characters. It's old now but I'm happy to have experienced such a story.

I got the chance of playing the preview release of Chapter 1 years ago and have to say It's very well done. Just to clarify it does not have fetish undertones. The characters are unique and have their own personalities. I would recommend it to anyone as it includes a no-adult option.

It's not a Japanese made game!

Catherine ran on the Gamebryo (Fallout 3, Oblivion) engine. I heard since the release of Catherine have have given up on it and made their own in house engine for their upcoming current-gen RPG's. First one being Persona 5, can't wait for even a small teaser.

The amount of damn time it takes for these guys to get convicted and then finally actually be put down is too damn long. There's no if and or buts about it, they did the crime. They should be gone from this earth in 6 months max.

Oh, God those are the worst things ever. How the hell is leaving openings for the game to get scratched a good idea? One of the dumbest "eco" designs for game cases. Glad PS3 boxes don't do that crap.

Reading the article makes it sound like Zynga thinks everyone that starts using it on iOS is a new customer to them. I would think anyone who wants to play the game on FB has already. Most people that get it on iOS are going to be already current users not new ones. I think there's going to be major overlap here. How

Duke Nukem had 14 years raked up.

I support PlatinumGames and Kojima Productions and I hope they are successful in their partnership.

You can bad mouth IF/CH since I give them no sympathy for being a tiny developer with minimal budgets. However, since I got play Death Smiles and 999 because of Aksys I do take offense.

I'm really looking forward to this. Flower for me was an experience I've never again had while playing a game. Toward the end of the game I felt a sense of dread. It was amazing and I hope they can do something like this in Journey.

Don't remind me about that series......now I'm depressed :/

I love the music of the PSX Final Fantasy games so damn much. Can't they bring Uematsu to do the music at least? In XIII I only liked the battle theme song.

Same here. I liked 7,8,10 and 12. Thinking back I can't point to just one thing that didn't grab me. I think it was the game overall music, characters, and the battle system. I know there's people that liked it and that's cool.

I'm starting to get DNF feelings from this....

I remember playing Diablo 2 back in the day and all the cheating going on in that game. Someone in-game chat said something like "I'm going to go play EQ where no one can cheat." Some memories you don't remember until articles like this pop up.

It's a cut and dry case. The review guy broke his agreement and the producer is over reacting like a whiny child. I wonder if this is going to effect The New Yorker as a whole or just the guy.

Simply stunning. I wonder what the entrance fee is for the place.
