There was a great Darkwing Duck comic put out for a couple years by Boom/Kaboom. I'm always surprised Marvel hasn't tried to relaunch it (preferably with the same creative team) since they took over for all of Disney property comics.

I'm guessing Riverdale will be more dark & gritty like that tv movie from a ways back and less dark like the comics with the zombies or the Predators or even that Criminal arc that was basically noir Archie with the names filed off.
