Holidays off? Huh. There's a concept.

Only if you mean awesomely murdered in Boris the Bear.

Could be worse. You could be posting an angry correction to factual inaccuracies in said article. Namely that Gleek the Monkey was the sidekick to the Wonder Twins, who most definitely had powers. Wendy & Marvin were the non-powered ones and they had a dog. GET IT TOGETHER AV CLUB!

Deadpool: Dead Presidents is, as they say, a hoot and a half. And I really enjoyed Jason Aaron's Wolverine & the X-Men run.

Can't believe I forgot Stokoe's work. SOOOOO GOOD.

In ongoing singles, I think the only liscensed book I'm buying right now is Jem & the Holograms which has been great. And I'm curious and hopeful about the upcoming non-Marvel ROM. The latest TMNT line has been pretty great, though I keep falling behind on the trades. And Transformers/GIJoe is just crazy and

Being introduced to the Giant Days from when they were just story-break filler for Bad Machinery probably makes it easier for me to be attached to them now. Plus Esther from the high-school centric portions of Scary-go-round before that.

Just the two singles this week. The above mentioned Unbeatable Squirrel Girl and Jem & the Holograms #16. Where I'm sad to see Sophie Campbell leaving, but at the same time glad 'cause she's said it will mean more Shadoweyes and Wet Moon.

Miller's Crossing was the first movie I watched when I got a computer capable of playing dvds. The score and cinematography are both so astounding. And so much wonderful acting. So perfect.

Fantastic Mr. Fox all the way as far as adaptions go.

I just recently read a post over on author David Brin's blog making the case for Gingrich being one of the few viable choices for Trump. At least in choices that don't involve him just choosing some random guy he knows.

The important thing is that it leads to Mr. Peanutbutter getting work again.

The Nocenti Daredevil is wonderfully crazy awesome. I mean he teams up with Spider-Man to fight Mephisto Jr. Gets involved in an Inhumans baby quest. Fights Ultron with a stick. And all drawn by Romita Jr. Or is it Jr. Jr? Anyway so great.

Planning on braving the Phoenix heat later today to pick up the latest Bitch Planet, Pretty Deadly and Autumnlands: Tooth & Claw. Also thanks to some kind of ebook pricing lawsuit mass settlement I had over $50 in credit with Amazon, and part of that went towards picking up vol. 3 of Wayward. Also finished up a

Right now I'm a 1/3 of the way into Future Visions: Original Science Fiction Inspired by Microsoft, though I can't remember whose review or recomendation prompted me to picking up the ebook. Finished short fiction by Seanan McGuire, Greg Bear and Elizabeth Bear and just starting Nancy Kress' entry.
