I am siding with the school on this one. It is not a public school - it is a private school with membership.

If they had actual jobs they would not have time for this Confederate cosplay. I know too many guys like this and this is how I explain it to people:

Right? Jalopnik has become just as insufferable and unapologetically progressive (in the worst way possible) as the rest of the former Gawker properties have been for a while. Shame, this was once such a top notch, car enthusiast-oriented blog.

So while I agree with you that JJ Abrams deserves a LOT of the credit for how bad those films are, I disagree in that he DOES get a lot of the flak for it. Everyone pretty much trashes what he did with those films.
