Because I’m sure the drivers trying to beat the trains to an intersection care who is operating them. These people killed themselves and others, same as if they were trying to make a light turning red.

Well, there’s always one contrarian.

Everything i’ve seen and read about the new season gives me “Fortitude” vibes. Of course i’ll watch it and most likely will enjoy it immensely, but if the twist turns out to be “ancient virus/bacteria is found in melting ice, infects peoples brains and makes them mad”, i’ll be ... mad.

The different aesthetics between the films could be explained as a status thing. The ship (and likely the crew) in Prometheus personally belonged to the owner of Weyland Yutani, so he made sure they got the flashier, sleeker stuff.
