Agreed. Non-violent offenders sentenced to short terms typically don't benefit from prison, and that goes for male offenders as well.

I don't really see why the focus has to be on women here; just non-violent offenders in general.

You cant fault the guy for getting hurt, its just shitty luck. If anything I commend him for never giving up, ALOT of guys have been in his position and just kept getting that guaranteed money and say fuck it... but 2 major knee injuries...back to back, still played for team USA with zero to gain from it.
