This is what it’s boiling down to. I do have to say, there’s something wrong with AB. He’s taken some brutal head shots over the years, which can’t have helped.

I know it’s just one measure, but it’s a big one: if you look at all-time PPG leaders, you have the top guys, Lemieux, Gretzky, Orr, but Crosby is 6th on that list, in the dead puck era, no less. He plays a 200-foot game. He also has the hardware. I don’t think it’s a Pittsburgh-centric notion at all that he is top 10

Yep--that’s not what happened. If you look at the video, Wilson makes a beeline for Oleksiak who barely had enough time to shake off his gloves. I’m not saying it was a cheap shot, Wilson caught him with a strong right to the jaw, but it was an instigated fight not a “wanna go? ok” type deal.

The Pens are going to go as far as Matt Murray takes them. That was a great hockey game.
