The absolute best :58 into the video, after teams have been brawling for almost a full minute—a guy throws a helmet “THAT’S GONNA HAVE TO BE AN ADDITIONAL PENALTY. THAT’S JUST POOR SPORTSMANSHIP...”

So, if I’m understanding this correctly, a person could make a donation to Best Buddies, and think they are supporting a cause for developmentally disabled people, but their money could be going to the University of Michigan?

Except virtually every time a player has been suspected of juicing, it later came out that he was juicing.

Messi’s goal was better than Maradona’s

but but but Crosby once slashed a guy one time I think!

That Dubinsky interference was the most blatant and easiest call the refs had to make in that game.

Still, though. I bet she is!

Great article. Fox, talk radio, etc keyed in long ago on how lucrative resentment is. That’s all their schlock is, and if you’ve ever watched O’Reilly while with one of his angry viewers, you’ll see how much it connects. They get their fix from being mad at the “others” and the “takers.”

thanks

Fellow jagoff ex-pat here. There is no way they make the wild card. Just being realistic because with the braintrust up Federal Street they’ll never do anything organization-wise that will put them over the top. They’ll always need to catch a little lightning in a bottle with retreads and 4A starters, and that can’t

I agree in theory; there are many more reckless drivers than reckless cyclists. But since it’s infinitely more dangerous in one of those two vehicles, rights are almost irrelevant.

Probably time for NHL to start mandating full face visors or cages. Might be unpopular at first, but so were helmets and half-visors.

Not only that, Spanier showed up to a post-game Paterno reception and yukked it up with alumni and trustees.

The Venn Diagram of these people and Trump voters is basically a circle. “Politically correct” is a convenient phrase when evil people want to look like victims.

Precisely.

If you think this sentiment is limited to one “asshole board member” you are either not familiar with Happy Valley, or choose to look the other way. Lord is just arrogant or dumb enough to say what more are thinking. And I love that we’re supposed to feel bad for the 19-year-old basketball player, who on scholarship

Up to 5 years, I think. But if he didn’t spend a minute behind bars, I wouldn’t be surprised, with these jamokes.

This on top of a trustee saying he’s losing sympathy for the victims, if he ever had any, which is doubtful.

This is some good—no great — work!

I agree. He doesn’t trust either himself (or drunken women succumbing to lust for him, but most probably himself) to not treat women sexually in a room with chardonnay. That tells me something.
