Why bring the name back at all? Probably because it’s a good name, in its own right. And, despite being mediocre, plenty of people have fond memories of Blazers. They weren’t *bad* cars; they just weren’t that good, either.

And I’m sure Trump has literally zero idea that’s the case. “He was technically correct even though he has no idea what the hell he’s talking about” isn’t an acceptable bar for a kindergartener, let alone the POTUS.

As other have said it’s a Vette, just mid-engine. And even though the still haven’t said a price point but if its even close to c7 price, GM did a great job.

I love it. Already imagining a Zora trim level with the full beans: carbon fiber, active aero, hybrid powertrain, AWD, pushrod suspension, maybe a longtail layout (a la Corvette Daytona prototype)...

The sound of baby boomer tears and howls saying, “it looks nothing like a corvette,” are the best things I’ve heard in a whiiiile. I mean, the C7 was almost identical to the first gen, it’s about time they changed it up.

It’s not meant to be a realistic test, the dummies aren’t holding beers and crowing about how they’d do it differently.

Actually I don’t see how this hurts his credibility or professionalism. He’s pointing put the stupidity of self centered individuals who think the world revolves around them and their beliefs
