I’m surprised Rick Barry still has kids in college.

I mean, a FT shooting style isn’t something you take a couple shots of in practice and call it a day—you have to keep at it for a minimum of a few months exclusively. And i mean if that’s the style you’re practicing, presumably, that’s the style you’d use in game.

Which tells me nobody is trying this.

You gotta think they have at least tried it in practice.

Because they care less about winning than looking stupid. Even though air-balling two free throws in a row (DeAndre!) or shooting a CAREER-HIGH 43% from the line (Drummond!) looks pretty fucking stupid to me.

I’m still surprised that terrible free throw shooters like DeAndre Jordan or Andre Drummond won’t give this a try. It may not make them Rick Barry, but I have a hard time believing they can’t shoot 60% granny style. Hell, I can make 60% granny style.

Wow, now that’s classic gamer. A whiny ass white guy over 30 who still doesn’t know how to dress himself and doesn’t know how to conduct himself with dignity or respect towards others.

Not if that ball player had called someone “a coon ass porch monkey” in a tweet.

Yeah, I’m pretty sure we’re going to have a harder time explaining why we give people $75 MILLION to hit a ball with a stick, put a ball in a hole, etc. Also, why we get in physical altercations when someone else likes the wrong ball hitter/thrower.

You do realize you’re defending a dude who’s blatantly and thoughtlessly used the N-word multiple times, right? Hell, you might be okay with that.

THe same way we justify giving hundreds of millions to people who play ball in a stadium

Same way we explain why we pay ludicrous amounts of money for people to act on camera I think, because we are desperate for relateable media

Despite being forced to soften his brand, the Philadelphia native...

It’s nice to see someone get a real world penalty for internet hate speech.

Please don’t reply to me with inane garbage. Thanks!

Same here.

Yeah. Look, I understand people who are social liberals and fiscal conservatives (though most professional fiscal conservatives aren’t that conservative with how they spend money on things they find important). I can understand the idea in theory. And hey, people can be assholes, sometimes to the detriment of their

OK sure, but let’s not pretend that the modern American progressive movement tolerates a particularly wide range of viewpoints and motivations. Many progressives would disagree vehemently with this:

People are equal, their opinions aren’t.

I used to think that too, but it may astonish you (as it did me) to know that all of them are at least an eighth Native American, and they swear they’re not racist.

“i haven’t met a single Native American yet who thinks it’s racist”
