Apparently the show was a big hit in France and I always wondered how they coped with the the way the characters switched from one naff accent to the other when depicting different languages. It must be tricky to do a clichéd french accent when actaully speaking…

With De La Iglesia, you pretty much know what your gonna get. My favorites of his movies (that I've seen) would be Día de la Bestia, La Comunidad and Crimen Ferpecto. A lot of hos other flicks tend to be one-joke affairs.
Although from the interviews I've seen, he seems to be a thoroughly nice guy.
