That’s where you get wrong the facist propaganda: all the great art is old art with no relation to nowadays politics ;) the museums will only show that. That happened in Italy aswell in Japan, and in Russia and Germany they financed only those who alined with the regime propaganda. “Art” will be fine

That’s my gripe. They don’t campaign on basically what their grievances listed above are. It’s usually “were gonna cut insert agency a by 70% and do away with insert agency b.” Then when it turns out agency a and b actually do things, especially when the benefits save more money than the cost, they look like assholes.…

Ha! It’ll be fun watching them realize that hard-working folks also get a lot of government benefits, especially when it comes to healthcare, and they’re about to lose it all. I do take comfort in the fact that many of those that voted for Trump are the ones about to suffer most.

I work for a museum that holds several important drafts of the Constitution. We rely on funding from the NEH to preserve the documents and make them available to the public. Republicans love to throw around the idea of the Constitution but they’re not so keen on spending money so school kids can see the originals.

Nah pretty sure we’ll be reminiscing about when we still had electricity and most of our limbs.

When Mulvaney said Meals on Wheels did not show enough results we misunderstood him. The results they want are more dead old and poor people.

This is why Republicans always get into trouble when they try and cut budgets, simply because most of their base is dependent on government programs (especially Medicare and Social Security).
