I've watched it. I just don't know what your statement meant. Are you reacting to like, the ending of the episode (which I totally saw coming, myself and was pretty gleeful that I was right), or to the feminism discussion?

It's definitely up for debate with both sides having plenty of ammunition to defend their stance, but it's certainly worthy of discussion, I think.

I think those had ended by the time I started frequenting the joint. I did try reading some at one point though, but the structure of the series (multiple shows in one write-up, labeled by day) was extremely frustrating, and the content was subpar, mostly due to that structure.

TPBs are your friends. I used to buy a crap ton of singles, but now I usually wait for an arc to finish and be bundled and then read reviews etc. to see if its worth my time.

Can I put in an official request here for more anime coverage at the AV Club? About two years ago, y'all gave FLCL the TV Classic treatment, and Hayden just absolutely knocked it the fuck out of the park.
