Hearing that Spurrier is leaving deeply saddens me. Between this and Coda, he’s quickly become one of my favorite comics authors working right now. He plays in the same meta-narrative sandbox that Gaiman does, but is making such unique and interesting sandcastles.

I’ve never watched a TNT show in my life. Will this be the one?

It pretty much goes full-tilt horror-comedy.

Surprised it didn’t make the list this time since it was a previous aggregator post on AV Club that helped me find it, but Coda was absolutely incredible! A post-post-apocalypse tale of a bard with no more stories left in him. The world-building is smart and efficient, the high-fantasy writing isn’t grating (!) and

A+? What is this, 2009?

The Disney Channel/Nickelodeon method.

Except for Morgan :/

You’ve never been in a doubtful situation but had inertia keep you from doing anything about it?

The McElroys continue to be good, decent people.

Really delivering on that ‘darkest season yet’ threat huh?

Like the movie Crank!

If Arya stays full-tilt cult though, it'll be more on the bitter side than the sweet.

Is this the prequel to Sea of Trees?

Wait wait wait, though. It's not a terrible show. Even at it's consistent worst, it was just mediocre-to-bad (at least since I stopped watching circa Season 7). But it's highs are pretty high.

Visions/Visits to some afterlife, or do they bring Bobby back to life?

Crowley almost kept me longer (and got me to watch a couple episodes since the aforementioned), but it just wasn't there for me anymore.

I quit watching Supernatural after Bobby's final episode. It was long past time to jump by then anyway, but I'm glad I stuck around long enough in it's undead era to see it. It's probably a Top 5 episode for me and one of the best send-offs for one of the best characters on TV.

I don't know if Tiger, Tiger is even used anymore, just that it was its original UK title. It wouldn't surprise me if it's now defunct.

Too late to be seen maybe, but I finally got around to reading Bester's The Stars My Destination (or Tiger, Tiger for you Brits (does AV Club have Brits? We must do, right?))

In what way did Saulnier 'shit the bed'?
