rust and vw’s are great friends...
the worst part of my 66 single cab was the frame rail, but there were all kinds of goodies hiding. the rockers on the passenger side are still flashing attached with drywall screws by some idiot previous owner. i just haven’t gotten around to fixing them with new metal yet.
