otherwise, a fantastic episode… some great dialogue and tonal gymnastics

I forget, was the involvement of aliens ruled out in this episode? For some reason I thought it was, yet technology used in the episode (i.e., the magneto-type T-handle blasting machine used by Sutcliffe to detonate the explosive fish poo) was about six and a half decades too early for 1814… Not a forgivable handful…
