I thought this episode was hilarious. That “You don’t like Avongers? We’ve got Avingers” line is like peak Futurama quality. I remain mystified by people who aren’t able to key into the humor of the series. It’s more laugh out loud funny than a lot of sitcoms I’ve seen. It wouldn’t stand against anything truly great,

The CGI looks perfectly fine and I don’t notice any glaring issues with it.

“Oh Cousin Larry, your daughter is not a Hulk, don’t be ridiculous...”

Seeing Mark Linn-Baker as a father in a sitcom warms this 80's kid’s heart. Cousin Larry for life!

That is the most self aware comment I have ever seen.

I don’t hold discussions with obvious MRM trolls.

Heck, there are plenty of entertainment shows on TV and the internet that are just angry guys yelling about things. That was Bill O’Reilly’s whole schtick and he had the highest rated show on cable for like 10 years. The internet is full of channels where the whole personality is rage, angry video game nerd, nostalgia

Not even close to a Number One, but can we give it up for that one time Madonna and Massive Attack covered Marvin Gaye?

Can you MRM snowflake more? Men fucking “hulk out” in their everyday lives constantly, often with deadly results. Society (and media as reflection of that) lionizes and teaches that men are dominant, need to be protectors and warriors, not take shit, and that consequently violence can be an answer to their feelings of

so in which reality/society men are allowed to “hulk out” in their everyday lives?

Oh god

True Blue is a near perfect album - coulda done without “White Heat” but the rest of it is a delight. And yet, she didn’t rest on those wildly successful laurels and just pushed into whatever new territory she wanted to. Like a Prayer - brilliant. Erotica - brilliant. Ray of Light - brilliant, and each of these albums

So, I put together a playlist for the wife a couple years back “Bitch, I’m Madonna A Sides 1982 - 2020". That was every A side (no dupes, remixes, just one version of each) I could find and it has 91 tracks.  50 number ones out of 91 is pretty fucking decent.

I’m 48 and if Like a prayer wasn’t top 2 I was going to find Todd and beat his ass! :)

Obligatory Canadian comment that Orphan Black is Canadian. Now that that’s out of the way: I think this show is a delight! I do not take issue with the character design whatsoever. The point Jen makes over and over again that women can’t really hulk out and have to learn to manage their rage lest they’re seen as

I love Ming-Na as May far too much to offer any cohert critique of her ranking. I will just say that her combination of action, comedy, and drama was unique & a couple of her scenes with her surrogate daughter Daisy (quipping about racism while on the run in the Framework, wordlessly holding hands when they think they

Wildly underrated sitcom

Ben & Kate would be an even better choice.

Not at all. Persuasion is a concise, engaging read with a very likable protagonist. Sense and Sensibility and Emma, on the other hand, were both too tedious for me to finish, and I powered through all of Mansfield Park, in which the heroine pines after her cousin until he gives in and marries her.

The shows I never bothered with, or only watched the first episode of, are all at the crappy end of the list. Life choices affirmed!
