You get a star just for the hootie hoo.

I don’t remember anything about Hosea’s culinary POV because that seemed to be over shadowed by the weird romantic turn w Leah. I don’t want kissing in Top Chef! (Unless it involves Padma somehow but I digress.) I’m ready for the season and, while I know I’m in the minority, I like Blais. Surprisingly, Marcel has

Yes she’s a Gilmore but everyone knows she didn’t grow up like a “true” Gilmore would have. She’s got to contend with her mothers running away and *gasp* actually having to work to get by. That’s not the kind of wife they want for their precious son. Though this ridiculous scene makes Emily’s later take down of Mama

Agreed that there were good reasons to not bring the hand. But I still liked that they gave him grief over it. Plus it led to the “I’m not inspector gadget” line which I loved.

I didn’t find his attitude odd. They were just whisked away to space, ugly big insects are a thing, no idea how to get back home but let me take a moment to process my feelings about the framework? At some point, sure, but I’m not at all surprised it didn’t happen here.

I’d have to go with Wonder Woman because I’ve waited so long for it and because it was great. Then it’s Spider Man because it’s the first Spider man movie I actually wanted to see and didn’t make Peter a whiny baby. Then Logan. And then in distant fourth Guardians and Thor. They were entertaining enough but I also

I love Speechless! It and The Good Place are my favorite offerings from last year’s crop of shows.

How appropriate that the review makes not one mention of Billy Crystal’s cameo since the characters on the show also don’t make a fuss over him. :)

The phrase “it’s complicated” was invented to describe the dysfunctional, painful relationship I have with my mother and I *still* think Kate is ridiculous and mean spirited. As someone else pointed out in another comment, the show hasn’t made a good case for why were supposed to empathize with her. So far her issues

They’ve shown them on several occasions raiding local stores so that’s a convenient answer to Carol’s never ending supply of new outfits.

Is there a point? They don’t know if the babies are immune, for one. Two, they’re holed up in Mexico because all of the nuclear power plants in the US (worldwide?) are failing or close to failing. That would seem to imply it’s all just borrowed time.

I enjoyed the episode and wasn’t expecting past cast members to show up so didn’t miss them. It’s become tradition to write off the new interns as forgettable. And they are until we get used to them and then we like one or two and wish the rest would disappear. So it wasn’t surprising to me that I was more invested w

The most hilarious moment was that even when Jody is a “feminist” he’s still screwing Mindy over. Wonder if saving the practice will require Danny to her bet partner?

I was told that I should get married because I will need someone to care for me in my old age and that being single for so long isn’t good for my mental health.

I enjoyed the hell out of this episode. Perfect way to showcase how confusing healthcare can be, how ridiculous it is to expect most of us to be able to save enough to cover any real emergencies, and that it can’t be solved in half a day by a group of people who aren’t equipped to do it. All while still bring a funny

They’re thoughtful kids but they’re still kids so of course they wouldn’t include the brothers in the actual planning. Kids can be self absorbed and selfish - they’re fantasizing after all. But it’s sweet that their fantasies include the brothers. Plus bringing in the brothers shoves the story into way too real

Because the line “your assistant is the speedster?” wouldn’t have been as funny if it had been said by some generic badass.

Oh I do love a good Demolition Man reference.

I’m clearly not a very discerning TV watcher because, while I enjoyed the show, after she chopped off her hair I just kept wondering if they will really commit to her having a bob for the rest of the series. Because that’s the most important thing? Though, admittedly, this might make me the perfect Mindy Project fan.

Ted Danson is so smooth. Love the end when Bell tells him he’s her second favorite man and he says she must have at least 500 favorite second men and that he’s in good company. Cute.
