I remember watching this as it happened, followed by the sister car, then the viper in GTD losing its radiator and couldn't tell which was worse. This is what makes endurance racing exciting, though.

Isn't it Monisha that's actually sinking the team? Why blame the guy who got screwed? He knows at this point in his career that this might very well be his last shot driving in F1, so you really can't blame the guy.
