I read your post not wanting to believe this but after doing some research, this thing is impressively complex... And that's all it has going for it. The fuel economy is not even that impressive. How disappointing.

I'm curious about the very same thing here. Haven't heard any details on this new effort from Marussia and what that means with Haas buying their facility and such. Seems very strange.

Worth a mention is this was actually classed as a sports car instead of a prototype in an effort to bypass the rules to use an engine with a larger displacement. There's also the whole fiasco of having to build 25 examples before the race for homologation and when the governing body visited their facility only 3 were…

He actually was the fastest on several occasions. He won a few stages and posted the second highest number of fastest times in Monte Carlo. He also had a brake failure and electrical problems.

They actually did broadcast a good amount of the race online. I really wish they would have done the whole race or at least offer more onboard shots since the online radio was pretty decent.
