Honestly, I think the “Obi-Wan’s Granddaughter” theory is by far the strongest and most satisfying.

I don’t get it either. The movie has such beautiful, rich colors, it seems like black and white would take away exactly what makes it so amazing visually, like in the scene of the convoy where we first see Doof Warrior.

I rewatched Fury Road last week, and honestly? I don’t see how black and white could improve it. The colors are so amazing in it. The flares, the sandstorm, the vehicles, the characters. Just seems really weird to me.
