I adore Four Wedding and a Funeral but think Notting Hill is boring as hell with a few good, short scenes. You are not alone.

My very first thought was that this sounded like a scene from Zoolander.

You haven’t seen a soccer brawl, have you?

I snorted when I read this. I have friends who will now hear “you are being agressively British” quite often.

You too?! My mom carted me and my sister around in a ‘80 mustang hatchback until we were in our teens. My sister came home from the hospital in that car. Mom even figured out how to get two bikes and two kids in there (to be fair, child seat laws were way more lax back then, but still).

I know two little boys named Jameson, so it is a thing.

It’s tricky, for sure. I started out on membox.com. They let you sort by skin type, issue etc. and that helped me out a lot.

Or at least pull a Romancing the Stone and cut the stiletto off.

I am so on the Korean skincare train it isn’t funny. I’m pretty much at the point where if there is English on the back of the bottle I don’t put it on my face.

It totally is! That’s why I put it in there. When you’re trying to come up with something to get things going it’s so easy to forget, “Hi, I’m Lume.” *put out hand for handshake*

To use a very simplistic example:

I always wanted a pool party growing up. My birthday is at the end of September- usually one week after the pool closes up for the winter, so I never got my pool party. Your kiddo is a lucky duck. :)

Exactly. Dude fucked up once, fully admitted he fucked up and apologized. He has never repeated anything similar.

Yes. The first episode is all set up, so it’s not the best ep. It’s a little slow compared to everything else. Try at least episode two, I’d say even three to see if you really like it.

it’s on Hulu if that helps.

Jason has really grown on me. He’s like a Golden Retriever puppy running around through every scene.

I’ve tried meetups a couple times. Maybe I just had bad luck, but when I showed up I ended up being one of two or three new people and everyone else already had established as a “group.” They didn’t exclude me at all, they were very nice, but I felt very much on the outside looking in. I’m not the most assertive

“a few bad apples spoil the batch,”

I have been thinking the same thing!
