Celebrating, obviously.
Celebrating, obviously.
“No, officer. The beer is free. We are only selling the cups for $5 each.”
Tyga claims it was strictly business and completely PG
“Too boring” is codespeak for “too shrewd to let us exploit the sensationalistic voyeurism of a half naked trans woman in lingerie.”
Even if she was kicked off the show because her life is too “boring” all that means is that her life is NOT a trashy mess. That’s something to be proud of. Many of us (me) wish we could say the same.
I IZ FEERCE.

My father is really bad with cats; once I placed an especially sweet, kissable kitten on his lap at a family party, and his hands curled up to his chest and he whispered "Please take it off of me, I don't know what it wants."
I understand that and I'm sorry to have aimed the comment at you. It's just that this is the kind of shit that junkie abusers pull that fucks with people's heads and it irritated me that the OP is written as if looking to medical evidence proves the veracity of the story. Sure If it was medically impossible for the…
It would be crushingly sad if the baby was actually alive, but the only evidence she has is Steve Tyler telling her that. Is he the most reliable source here? At best he knows nothing about medicine, at worst he was high at the time. And in both scenarios he's a liar and an abuser, not to be trusted.
Holcomb's story isn't about abortion, it's about victimization. Abortion can be used as a tool of abuse. So can love and emotions, but we're not trying to outlaw those.
This story makes me feel very sorry for Holcomb, but it doesn't make me agree with her about abortion. It does, however, make me very uncomfortable with the fact that I often work with musicians and a lot of them are still pulling the same crap with young fans to this day.
Even though viability is around 24 weeks, it's not unheard of for even babies born at 18 or 19 weeks to take a few breaths. It doesn't mean the children are developed enough to survive, even with the best medical treatment.
Yeah. I do not agree with her at all as I am completely pro-choice, but I kind of see why she would feel anti-abortion. Tragically, she had an awful experience as a young girl. Her personal experience with abortion was horrific, so I am not surprised that she thinks no one should go through it. Of course abortions are…
I don't comment much any more, but I wanted to emphasize Irin's mention of reproductive coercion- this is actually a really salient marker for abusive relationships more generally (since it's a very effective way of exerting control over one's partner), and consists of both birth control coercion (Tyler throwing her…
Have you been around drug addicts much? Doing/needing drugs at what other people would consider completely inopportune times and places is a hallmark of deep addiction. It's extremely well documented that Tyler was such a user during this time. Barring evidence to the contrary, why would you have trouble believing…
What I really don't understand is why he would continue to talk about her, particularly detailing their sex life (real or not). He seems like a really disgusting human being.
"I don't come away from this story thinking that abortion should be illegal because Holcomb had a tragic experience with a very bad partner. I come away from it thinking that this is actually a discussion about sexual exploitation, bad parenting, reproductive coercion, possibly a terrible provider — and a giant…
@forherwealth: In Germany, where my mom grew up, it's totally normal for young girls to, for example, swim topless. I don't really see how this is any different than young boys going topless, especially pre-puberty. But it's possible I'm biased because I was so happy to be allowed to only wear swim trunks at the beach…
So, America. Basically what you're saying is, the human body is something to be viewed in a solely sexual manner. And to do otherwise is somehow a threat to public decency.
